Event Details
Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a 12-month period of employment eligibility available to all international students upon completion of their degree, and also to Ph.D. candidates who have finished all course requirements, but continue to work on their dissertation.
OPT can take up to three months to be approved by USCIS, and so we offer these OPT Workshops at the beginning of the academic term. Your OPT must be approved before you begin working.
